I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Joensuu. The location was perfect, right in the center of the city. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. I particularly enjoyed having a kettle in the room to make tea and coffee. The breakfast selection was impressive, with a variety of options to choose from. the hotel provided a luxurious and comfortable experience.

I would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel itself is not the most modern but it was sufficiently clean and functional. For one night on a business trip it was very adequate. Although I would want more if I was going to vacation in the area.

No free parking possible in whole town. Only very little private hotel parking area, which was already free. So you have to move your car once every hour during daytime. Rather unfriendly staff. Breakfast is served in very dark underground restaurant which is accessed through a underground parking.. and that is also how it smells there. Wifi availability in hotel rooms is very poor.

A great way to start the New Year! The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The staff were welcoming and always there to help with any queries. The room was spacious and had a great view of the city. The breakfast was an absolute treat, with an extensive spread of international and local cuisine.

The cleanliness. The room and bathroom could have been cleaner and the toiletries provided were minimal.

This hotel is located near everything a visitor might need on a trip to Finland, right in the city center. You won't need to worry about transportation as everything is near the city centre. the staff is professional and the room is clean with regulated temperature control. You can have a pleasant shower with the adequate space in the bathroom. the breakfast here is good and you'll find everything you need to start the day.

The cleaning service leaves something to be desired compared to other hotels in the area.

Our stay at Scandic Joensuu was fantastic! Comfy beds, clean rooms, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, great location near the station, accommodating with extending our stay.

I had a great stay at this hotel, located right in the city center, making it convenient for me to access everything I needed while in this city. The hotel facilities are clean and tidy, including the rooms with a good work desk and Wi-Fi that worked efficiently. The staff were friendly, providing excellent service and explaining things like the breakfast, sauna, and parking well. Speaking of the breakfast, it was well stocked, providing me with a full stomach before starting my day.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. I was traveling alone in a country where I did not speak the language with a small puppy. The folks at the front desk helped me order dinner, pick it up and made sure I had an early breakfast available so that I could eat before I had to leave to catch my flight.

The location is excellent, space in shower is great and the parking is for free.

The breakfest is in a Pizzeria and therefore it smells allready in the morning to Pizza. The space between the refrigerator and the first bed is very small.

Had an amazing Christmas at this hotel! Its location was perfect. Just a short stroll away from the train station and very close to the main street, which was beautifully decorated for the holidays. the buffet breakfast was superb, offering everything from hot dishes to fresh fruit and pastries. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel at home.

The room could have been cleaner. the bathroom had some spots that seemed to be overlooked during cleaning.
